We’re thrilled to share the highlights from the recent PlanProphet Champion Summit 2024, which took place on January 25th and 26th in the vibrant city of Miami. With over 180 participants representing more than 100 diverse print shops, the event was a resounding success, bringing together owners, champions, salespeople, customer service representatives, and general managers from various centers.
The summit featured two dynamic speakers who delivered insightful sessions. On the first day, Bill Faquharson, a seasoned sales trainer with over 40 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, enlightened us on strategies to increase sales productivity and create winning sales processes. He also addressed key challenges in sales, including adapting to the hybrid worker model, the indispensability of marketing, and navigating client relationships with a focus on productivity and quality.
Additionally, our Chief Technology Officer, Rene Garcia, unveiled the much-anticipated launch of the new PlanProphet Customer Portal. Rene articulated how this innovation represents a natural evolution of PlanProphet, emphasizing the customer-centric approach behind its development. The portal aims to empower print shops by providing tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, including features such as quote follow-up and marketing automation.
Introduction to PlanProphet Payments was another significant highlight. This new feature, considered the crown jewel of the customer portal, streamlines billing processes, saving time and effort for print shop owners. With automatic payment application and seamless integration, PlanProphet aims to become the ultimate solution for managing collections, further solidifying its role as a trusted partner for print businesses.
Furthermore, the integration with LoyaltyLoop offers enhanced customer engagement and feedback management. This integration enables automated follow-up campaigns based on feedback surveys, providing valuable insights into customer sentiment and preferences.
Throughout the summit, attendees had the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, training sessions, and creative communications workshops. Notable moments included insights shared by industry owners Jim Caughorn (Graphic Creations), Jason Powers (Sir Speedy St. Pete), and Lisa Frederick (Unity Printing) during the owner panel, as well as valuable discussions led by champions Elina Tairova (GSB Digital), James Warren (Sir Speedy Music City), and Chris Hospers (Print Tech of Western PA).
Day 1 concluded with a festive dinner, accompanied by music and an all-you-can-drink bar, where attendees celebrated birthdays, danced, and shared memorable moments together.
Day 2 commenced with a compelling presentation by Kevin Cushing, a respected leader in the printing industry. Kevin introduced the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and guided attendees on implementing this model to drive success in their businesses. The day also featured training sessions and interactive workshops, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants.
As the summit drew to a close, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and contributors who played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success. Your enthusiasm and dedication are the driving force behind our continued innovation and growth. Here’s to another year of partnership and success with PlanProphet!
